23 People is a 1397 war-drama movie written and directed by «Mehdi Jafari» and produced by «Mojtaba Faravardeh». The film was screened for the first time at the 37th Fajr Film Festival and won the Crystal Simorgh for «Best Film from a National Perspective». The story of this film, which is based on a novel called «Those 23 People» written by «Ahmad Yousefzadeh», narrates the memories of 23 young soldier, from 13 to 17 years old, who were captured by Iraqi forces during the -Iraq war in 1982.
